Dataset
To provide data on groundwater vulnerability to pollution in transboundary aquifers.
Groundwater vulnerability is a natural property of a groundwater system that depends on the sensitivity of the system to human impacts. Data on this complex indicator are very scarce. This is the first baseline assessment of all the transboundary water resources.
Dataset consists of: name of aquifer, countries sharing the aquifer, aquifer vulnerability to pollution and groundwater pollution. Groundwater vulnerability is categorized as: low vulnerability to pollution and moderate vulnerability to pollution.
Water quality tests and monitoring of transboundary aquifers.
