Dataset
To determine the extent to which surface-derived organics may be driving arsenic mobilization in shallow circum-Himalayan aquifers.
The data were collected over the period 2013-2016. The study was carried out in May 2019, funded by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) Standard Research Grant NE/J023833/1 and data was deposited by the University of Manchester. Other contributors were the British Geological Survey and the University of Bremen.
The dataset contains the hydrogeochemical, isotopic and environmental geophysics data from surface waters and groundwater and sediments from scientific boreholes drilled into arsenic-prone aquifers in the Mekong River Basin.
Data was collected through sample water quality testing and analysis
