To investigate the water saltiness in the Nsanje region in Malawi.
This dataset was collected by the Médecins sans frontières.
Data contains the conductivity levels (saltiness) measured in µS/cm from various areas in Nsanje. The conductivity is categorized in to the following groups: 901 - 1200, 1201 - 1500, 1501 - 1800, 1801 - 2100, 2101 - 2400, 2401 - 2700, 2701 - 3000, 3001 - 3300 and 3301 - 3600.The least represent less conductivity.
Data was collected using laboratory analysis. Conductivity levels for 16 boreholes in the area were recorded. These values were then entered in GIS software & a spatial analysis was conducted using Kriging interpolation.
