Dataset Objective

To investigate the borehole water saltiness in the T/A Tengani, Nsanje region in Malawi.

Context

This dataset was collected by the Médecins sans frontières.

What is included

Data contains the conductivity levels (saltiness) measured in µS/cm from various areas in Nsanje, with the minor level being 1501-1800 and the highest in the range of 6901-7200.

Collection Methods

Data was collected using laboratory analysis. Conductivity levels for 20 boreholes in the area were recorded. These values were then entered in GIS software & a spatial analysis was conducted using Kriging interpolation.
