To evaluate the performance of the Conservancy Support program in Namibia.
The activity aimed to build capacity of conservancies – areas where communities living on communal land manage and benefit from the area’s natural resources – to protect natural resources and to increase investment, employment, equitable revenue distribution, and incomes.
Data contains the business partnerships and conservancy revenue, conservancy governance, effect of game acquisitions, household well-being, gender dimensions of access and benefits, sustainability, harvest, sales and income, intra-household gender considerations and sustainability.
Data was collected through a sample survey using Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs).
