Dataset Objective

To provide a quantitative information to identify and address urgent economic development and policy priorities in Pakistan.

Context

This was the third round of the Pakistan Rural Household Panel Survey (PRHPS) conducted in 2014. Round 1 and 2 were conducted in 2012 and 2013, respectively. This study was conducted by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), assisted by the Innovative Development Strategies (IDS). Research funds were provided by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

What is included

Data contains information on sources of income, nature of employment, consumption patterns, time use, assets and savings, loans and credit, education, migration, women decision making, economic shocks, transfers in and out, health and nutrition, and participation in social safety nets.

Collection Methods

Data was collected using a households sample survey administered using questionnaires.
