Dataset Objective

To show the water level in Nsanje and T/A Tengani region in Malawi.

Context

This dataset was collected by the Médecins sans frontières.

What is included

Data contains the various shades showing water levels from the ground, with green shades indicating water levels closer to the ground.

Collection Methods

Static water levels and elevations for 13 boreholes in the area were recorded. The dynamic water level was obtained by subtracting the static water level from the height of each borehole. The results were then entered in GIS software & a spatial analysis was conducted using Kriging interpolation.
