Dataset Objective

To map out regions where there is a potential for further groundwater sources expansion.

Context

The data covers: Extremely low development potential (0.0 - 0.1 l/s), Very low development potential (0.1 - 0.5 l/s), Low development potential (0.5 - 2.0 l/s), Medium development potential (2.0 - 5.0 l/s), and High development potential ( > 5.0 l/s)

What is included

Dataset consists of groundwater development potential classified as: extremely low, low, very low, medium and high, different aquifer types and how the water could be extracted e.g. hand-pump, motorized pump etc..

Collection Methods

Sample survey and monitoring.
