To show the number of monitoring stations for groundwater sources in South Africa.
The sites are grouped into nine groups with different colors to differentiate between the Provincial Offices responsible for the monitoring thereof.
Dataset consists of station number, station status, measurement start date, most recent data date, monitoring frequency, current data availability status and percentage of reliable data from the station. Groundwater monitoring networks are categorised as acceptable, unacceptable and concerned.
