To provide data in groundwater quantity trends across the Indo-Gangetic basin.
Data covers the period 2000 to 2010. This study is undertaken by British Geological Survey.
Dataset consists of mean annual change in water-table levels across the aquifer during the period in meters per year.
Data is based on in situ measurements, multiyear groundwater-level records from 3,429 water wells and a compilation of existing high-resolution spatial datasets.
