To assess the amount of water that flows through a river section.
The data set is a product of the Global Flood Awareness System (GloFAS) and offers a consistent representation of key hydrological variables across the global domain, including: River discharge, Soil wetness index (root zone), Snow water equivalent, Runoff water equivalent (surface plus subsurface)
Dataset contains: volume rate of water flow, included sediments, chemical and biological material in the river channel ,average speed of river flow and upstream.
The data was produced by forcing the open-source LISFLOOD hydrological model with ERA5 meteorological reanalysis data, interpolated to the GloFAS resolution, produced at a 24-hourly timestep.
