To provide data on water quantity in transboundary river basin.
This study is part of Transboundary Waters Assessment Programme (TWAP), initiated by the Global Environment Facility (GEF).
Dataset entails: basin code, number of countries sharing the basin, surface area, number of inhabitants in the basin, score, norm score and risk category. Human water stress is categorized as: low, very low, high, very high and moderate.
Dataset is based on existing datasets and decades of indicator-based assessment work.
