Dataset Objective

To provide data on historical flooding in Sri Lanka.

Context

What is included

Dataset consists of 3 classes of data: (flood) water, reference water (dry season) and land (no water). Flood extents and maximum flood for flood events of May 2003, Dec 2007, Nov-Dec 2008, May 2010 and Dec 2014.

Collection Methods

Time series of EO SAR data and optical data. Satellite imagery.
