AQUASTAT also provides data on surface water and groundwater entering or leaving the country.
Dataset contains: average volume of surface water that entered the country through transboundary flows in km3/yr, inflow to other countries not submitted to treaties, inflow to other countries submitted to treaties and inflow to other countries secured through treaties.
Data is obtained through survey and monitoring.
