Dataset Objective

To assess total mangrove forests in the coastal zone of West Africa that may be exposed to the threats of sea level rise and storm surge.

Dataset was derived from the 30m resolution Earth Science Data Information System (ESDIS) Global Mangrove Forests Distribution, 2000 raster data set.

This study entails country id, mangrove forest extent, sea levels, climate change, total run off, storms frequency, and forest loss.
