The coverage shows the wetlands in Kenya according to International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)’ The wetlands are inclusive of lakes, rivers, saltpans, fresh water marshes, mangroves and alkaline/ saline lakes.
The dataset contains name, class, wetland, perimeter, area, and description of the wetland. Wetlands are categorized as mangroves, rivers, lakes, salt pans, freshwater marshes, and alkaline/ saline lakes.
