To provide data on mangroves' total area change across different regions.

Context

This dataset is part of the Global SDG Indicator database compiled through the UN System in preparation for the Secretary-General's annual report on progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals.

What is included

Data contains the percentage change of mangrove cover between 2000-2006 for different countries.

Collection Methods

Data was mapped using topographic maps.
