The 2021 Population and Housing Census in Ghana employed an E-Census approach, utilizing Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) and other IT solutions for various census processes. The use of technology aimed to ensure real-time data collection, minimize data processing time, and enhance data accuracy. The census utilized questionnaires (e.g., PHC 1A, PHC 1B) for data collection and underwent data editing at multiple levels, including by enumerators, regional data quality monitors, and national-level batch edits in CSPro and STATA. A post Enumeration Survey (PES) was conducted to assess the extent of coverage and content errors. Data presented are 10% representative samples.
