To show protected areas in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific.

Context

What is included

Data contain the names of protected areas (marine, heritage sites, birds sanctuaries, Ramsar sites, monuments, national parks, forest reserves, national reserves and other protected areas), countries, the field IDs, area and perimeter in hectares, size, year of establishment, among other attributes.

Collection Methods

Data was collected through satellite images.
