Dataset
To provide information on rural and small-town water supply facilities and service performance in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana, supporting water sector planning, monitoring, and decision-making.
The Brong Ahafo Region page is part of the Community Water and Sanitation Agency (CWSA) Water Atlas, an online platform developed to disseminate data from Ghana's rural water service monitoring activities. The atlas presents information collected through national monitoring exercises to assess water service delivery and infrastructure conditions across rural communities and small towns.
The platform provides regional and district-level information on rural water services in the Brong Ahafo Region, including fact sheets, maps, and data reports. Available information includes handpump and piped scheme data, management and functionality status of water facilities, service authority performance, community and area council-level datasets, and raw datasets on water infrastructure and management. The atlas also offers thematic maps showing facility functionality, handpump types, piped scheme management, and service levels across the region.
Data are compiled from monitoring activities conducted across participating regions and aggregated into the online atlas to support benchmarking, policy development, programming, investment planning, and evidence-based decision-making in the water sector.
