The dataset is part of FAOSTAT's efforts to provide comprehensive food and agriculture statistics globally, focusing specifically on Ghana's food prices across different categories.
Deflators data (price deflator series), producer prices, and producer price index, Consumer Price Indices, Annual and Monthly exchange rates, Local currency Units (LCU) per US dollar rates.
Data collected through a registry. Reliability and accuracy depend on the sampling design and size of the basic variables and these might differ significantly between countries just as the use of data sources, definitions and methods. The accuracy of an indicator is very much dependent on the accuracy of the basic variables that make up the indicator.
