Flood hazard rating is based upon research carried out by the Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) in the United Kingdom.

Data contains the flood risks occurring expressed as a five-year return period, water depth, and associated danger.

Data was collected using very high-resolution optical and radar satellite images and modeling.
