To provide monthly changes in forest coverage in Gran Chaco region due to deforestation.
The data was collected as part of routine monitoring of deforestation in Gran Chaco region.
The data contains monthly forest cover changes (tone, shape, size, texture, pattern, shadow, and context) in the Gran Chaco region (Bolivia, Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay) ranging from 2011-2018.
The data was collected through deforestation monitoring using 30-meter resolution Landsat images. The changes in the forest cover were calculated using multi-temporal analysis, which incorporates a base analysis image from the last two years and a current image from the study month.
