To provide the global forest cover remaining with no human interference and to assess undamaged forest, changes, and forest degradation both at global and regional levels.

The dataset was created as part to identify the global and regional changes in forest density.

What is included

Data contains global intact forest landscape areas with their sizes, geographical locations, global ID, shape length, and area from 2000 to 2013 and 2013 to 2016

Collection Methods

The data was mapped using Landsat satellite imagery.
