To map out legally owned or registered community forest, boundaries and locations in Cameroon.
The dataset was created as part to identify the community forest and changes in the forest cover.
The dataset contains 375 community forest areas with their registered names, forest areas in hectares, shape length, and shape area. The data also contains the management variable by communities, including the option of contracting a third party to harvest timber commercially.
The dataset was extracted using satellite imagery and from the government registry.
