To provide data on forest coverage changes in Brazilian Amazon and Cerrado biomes to establish public policies for reducing deforestation.
The data was collected as part of routine monitoring of deforestation in the Brazilian Amazon and Cerrado biomes.
The data contains annual deforestation (area (km), shape length and area, etc.) Brazilian Amazon and Cerrado biomes ranging from 2009-2019.
The data was collected through deforestation monitoring and imagery from Landsat 7 and 8, CBERS-2, CBERS-2B, Resourcesat-1, and UK2-DMC.
