To provide Cameroon's boundaries of public forests managed by the State (Forest Management Units) or by the communes (Communal Forests).
The data was collected to document all the public forests managed by the State (Forest Management Units) or by the communes (Communal Forests).
The dataset contains 192 public forests with their concession names, classification status, date gazetted, administrative area size (hectares), among other attributes.
The data was obtained from public notices, decrees, and topographic maps Scale of 1: 200 000.
