Dataset Objective

To identify and provide areas that are likely to lose tree cover in near-real-time.

The dataset includes four areas with their tree cover, shape length, shape area and possible tree cover loss for 2016-2017.

The dataset was collected by a Landsat-based alert system which uses both 250-meter and 30-meter resolution MODIS imagery.
