To provide data on forest land covering source watersheds.
This study is conducted by Urban Water Blueprint which analyzes the state of water in more than 2000 watersheds and 530 cities worldwide. Study covers the period January 2015-December 2015.
Dataset consists of country name, urban area and the percentage of forest as a land cover in the surface source watersheds. Globally, a watershed is covered by 40 percent of forestall area this however varies from country to country.
