To represent the buffered geography around the known landfills in and around the City of Austin, Texas.

Context

Due to the uncertainty of the boundaries of the landfills; the buffers are used to regulate development in close proximity to the landfills.

What is included

A downloadable CSV file, JSON, XML, and RDF files describing the acreage of landfills, buffer distance, active years, location, spatial resolution, owner of landfill, name of landfill, shape area, shape length, and type of landfill.
