To map out total tree cover gain across all global land from 2000 to 2012.
Tree cover gain was defined as the establishment of tree canopy at the Landsat pixel scale in an area that previously had no tree cover. This data cover tree cover gain from 2000 to 2012.
The dataset comprises of tree cover gain, natural forest growth, percentage forest gain, the crop rotation cycle of tree plantations, density of gain, and concentration of tree cover gain.
