Dataset Objective

To provide data on the proportion of the population using on-site sanitation facilities with human waste treated off-site

Context

The indicator data draw on inter-agency estimates and nationally representative household surveys such as Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) and Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS). In addition, data from administrative sources and other United Nations organizations have been used.

A downloadable CSV file describing; geographic area, residence type, time period, data source, unit of measurement, and values
