Dataset Objective

To show all the locations for forest regeneration in Phalombe Districts, Malawi.

Context

This dataset was collected as part of the Malawi Ministry of Forest project on forest regeneration in all the districts of Malawi. The Department of Survey produced the data.

What is included

Data contains 49 forest locations, names, regions, districts, traditions, villages, activity (planting or regeneration), forest type and the youth groups involved in the regeneration process.

Collection Methods

Data was mapped using satellite images.
