This dataset was collected by the Department of Geological Survey, South Africa (Council for Geoscience).

What is included

Data contains the geometry polygons, rock symbols, field ID, formation, lithology descriptions, and various rocks and minerals found in Botswana and South Africa.

Collection Methods

Data was collected using remote sensing and satellite imagery.
