To evaluate the impact of the Tanzania Transport Project, Mainland Trunk Roads Activity on the socio-economic development of the communities along the roads.
The study was to obtain pre-treatment and post-treatment data on the impact of the Tanzania Transport Project, Mainland Trunk Roads Activity.
Data contains the permanent source of water, if any, land prices if a stranger can buy land, village names, type of village (if treatment or control), time taken from a center to the main road, means of transport to the main road, means of transport to secondary school, means of transport to primary school, tribe in the village, the ladder of life, poverty index position, land owned by households, the religion of homes, type of toilets used, roofing material of the families, primary source of drinking water, time covered to get drinking water, source of energy or lighting, time taken to visit or receive a visitor, cultivated cash-crops, among other multi indicators.
Data was collected using a sample household survey, community profile information, and Life Focus Group Discussion.
