Context

Useful for Humanitarian Planning & Resource Allocation - determining where to allocate relief (food, shelter, health, WASH) based on population size and distribution.

What is included

The data includes; the country of origin, asylum, location, number of males & females and their totals. The data also includes; end-year population totals, demographics, asylum applications, decisions, and solutions availed by refugees and IDPs (resettlement, naturalisation or returns)

Collection Methods

The data is collected by UNHCR and some statistics are collated primarily from governments hosting these populations
