To provide standardized administrative boundary data for Kenya

Context

The Kenya Subnational Administrative Boundaries dataset is part of the Humanitarian Data Exchange (HDX) Common Operational Datasets (CODs) maintained by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

What is included

The dataset contains administrative boundary data for Kenya at two subnational levels: Admin 1 (47 counties) and Admin 2 (290 sub-counties), in addition to the national boundary (Admin 0).

Collection Methods

The dataset is derived from administrative boundary information obtained from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
