Dataset
To provide public access to water and sewer-related datasets, maps, dashboards, applications, and geospatial resources maintained by the District of Columbia government and DC Water
The Water and Sewer section of Open Data DC is a thematic collection within the District's official open data platform. It brings together datasets related to drinking water infrastructure, wastewater systems, sewer networks, stormwater management, hydrants, water main breaks, sanitary sewer overflows, and other utility-related information.
The portal provides access to a broad range of water and sewer-related data resources for the District of Columbia. These include datasets on drinking water distribution infrastructure, sewer networks, water mains, fire hydrants, pipe and service line materials, sanitary sewer overflows, combined sewer systems, stormwater infrastructure, utility assets, capital improvement and construction projects, and environmental monitoring activities.
Data are collected and maintained by District government agencies and DC Water through operational monitoring, infrastructure management, inspections, engineering activities, utility reporting, and environmental programs. Information is published through Open Data DC and DC Water's Open Data Portal and made available through ArcGIS services, downloadable files, APIs, dashboards, and web maps.
