Data was collected to develop and conduct an evaluation of the MCC Malawi Compact on infrastructure development and assess the program design and implementation to develop the most rigorous evaluation design feasible and bring the most appropriate evaluation methodology.

The IDP invested in the national electricity grid’s generation, transmission, and distribution infrastructure to increase grid capacity and stability
Data contains information on the Household Focus Group Discussion Guide, Mini Survey, and Enterprise Survey. These include sources of and expenditures on electricity and energy costs, reported experiences with electricity, including outages, and attitudes towards Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (ESCOM) and the government, among other indicators.
Data were collected using survey questionnaires.
