This dataset was collected to determine the relationship between chickpea production and consumption in Uzbekistan.
The data was collected for the project: "Collaborative Research Project on Sustainable Soil Management to Enhance Agricultural Productivity in Central Asia" as part of its Activity 2.2: "On‐farm evaluation and demonstration of integrated soil, land, crop and water management technologies to combat land degradation and improve livelihoods (socioeconomic survey)".
Data contains the sampled farmers' socioeconomic information (age, gender, education, farming years, locality, irrigated areas, rainfed areas, barley production, chickpea, linseed oil productions, consumption and profit, among other variables).
