Dataset Objective

To provide data on the average number of crops grown in central and western Kenya croplands in 2001.

These samples are averaged to spatial units (polygons) of crop - lands from Kenya’s most recent land cover map (FAO 2000)

Data contains detailed crop information (species type, number of crops and area covered) in Central and Western Kenya locations.

Data was collected using aerial photos.
