To provide the annual data on public sector deficits, the monetary sector, and the financial sector in selected counties, including Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Morocco, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, and others.
Data were reported for varying lengths, from 1965-90 to 1980-89.
The dataset contains public sector surplus or deficit, seigniorage, Real interest rate Inflation, and Taxes from financial repression estimates for the selected countries.
Data was obtained from government sources and International Monetary Fund monitoring.
